What a huge honor to be a part of this broadcast! Mahalo to Salt + Air Studios for allowing us to help run the master control room. Gluing it all together remotely from Mililani while all their camera operators were at Waimea really shows that remote production is possible. A direct SRT stream to Surfline and a 2nd to KHON for a live statewide broadcast in Hawaii helped bring this magnificent event to the world.
